Code of Conduct
for all participants, volunteers and spectators
- By attending any CBL sponsored event, you agree to act in a sportsmanlike manor. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action towards your athletic association upto and including forfieture of games or championships.
1. I will place the emotional and physical well-being of all children on all teams ahead of any personal desire to win.
2. I will remember that CBL activities and games are for children and not for adults.
3. I will do all I can to make the game fun and safe for all the children involved in CBL.
4. I understand that CBL is a volunteer organization that encourages all parents to participate in activities, such as registration, fundraising activities, and/or coaching.
5. I will ask my child to treat all other players, coaches, referees, league officials, and parents with respect.
6. I will insist that all children play in a safe and healthy environment.
7. I promise to help my child enjoy CBL by being respectful to all players, coaches, referees, league officials, and parents.
8. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all children and coaches (including those of an opposing team). This applies to every game, practice, or any other CBL event.
9. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all referees, league officials and parents at every game or event.
10. I will demand a drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free sports environment for all children and agree to assist by refraining from their use at all CBL games, practices and events.
