Code of conduct for all participants, volunteers and spectators
- By attending any CBL sponsored event, you agree to act in a sportsmanlike manor. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action towards your athletic association upto and including forfieture of games or championships.
1. I will place the emotional and physical well-being of all children on all teams ahead of any personal desire to win.2. I will remember that CBL activities and games are for children and not for adults.3. I will do all I can to make the game fun and safe for all the children involved in CBL.4. I understand that CBL is a volunteer organization that recommends all parents to participate in activities, such as registration, fundraising activities, and/or coaching.5. I will ask my child to treat all other players, coaches, referees, league officials, and parents with respect.6. I will insist that all children play in a safe and healthy environment.7. I promise to help my child enjoy CBL by being respectful to all players, coaches, referees, league officials, and parents.8. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all children and coaches (including those of an opposing team). This applies to every game, practice, or any other CBL event.9. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all referees, league officials and parents at every game or event.10. I will demand a drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free sports environment for all children and agree to assist by refraining from their use at all CBL games, practices and events.
